BEVERLY HILLS, 10:00 am-2:00 pm: “Sparkle in the Park,” at Beverly Hills Community Building, 1 Civic Circle. Music, food, bounce houses, vendors and classic cars!

BRONSON, 5:00 pm: “Town of Bronson Annual 4th of July Celebration,” James H. Cobb Park, 275 Picnic St., off NE State Rd. 24. Food vendors and fireworks at dark by Bronson Fire & Rescue, Station 70. Bring your blankets and chairs and a canned item to donate to the “Food for Kids Backpack” program!

CRYSTAL RIVER, 4:00-8:00 pm: “Fourth of July Painting and BBQ,” Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park, 237 S. Rock Crusher Rd. All-inclusive poolside fun!

DUNNELLON (CITRUS SPRINGS), 2:30-3:30 pm: “Nature Coast Community Band, Independence Day Concert,” Admission FREE. Citrus Springs Community Center, 1570 W. Citrus Springs Blvd.

MONDAY, JULY 3

INVERNESS, 6:00-10:00 pm: “City of Inverness Annual Patriotic Evening,” at Liberty Park (286 N. Apopka Ave.) and Wallace Brooks Park (28 E. Dampier St.). Kids zone, live music and food vendors. Fireworks display over Lake Henderson after 9:00 pm.

WILLISTON, 5:00-10:00 pm: “City of Williston Independence Day Celebration.” 5:00 pm – Parade on Noble Ave. 6:00 pm – Gates open at Williston Horseman’s Park, 803 SW 19th Ave. A $2 per car parking donation is requested, but not required. Free rides for the children, games, food and other vendors, and fireworks at dusk. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. No alcohol. No dogs other than service dogs.

TUESDAY, JULY 4

CEDAR KEY, 9:15 pm: “Fireworks at Cedar Key,” on Dock St. Other good places to watch the fireworks are City Park & Beach, Levy County Fishing Pier, Historic Second Street, Corner of 1st and ëGí Street and any of the many accommodations and restaurants throughout town.

CRYSTAL RIVER, 5:00-10:00 pm: Third-annual “Old-Fashioned 4th of July,” presented by Florida Public Utilities at Kings Bay Park, located at 268 NW 3rd St. Food, beer and wine, live entertainment, games; “Red, White and Blue Parade,” and fireworks (waterfront) at 9:00 pm, weather permitting!

CRYSTAL RIVER, 6:00-11:00 pm: All-inclusive “Night of Painting & Barbecue,” inside Crystal River Mall (across from the movie theatre), 1801 NW U.S. Hwy. 19. Enjoy a fun night of painting (all painting supplies included), hots dogs and drinks. Bring your friends & family.

DUNNELLON, 6:00-9:30 pm: Annual “Boomtown Blast,” at Dunnellon High School, 10055 SW 180th Avenue Road. Fun, food, entertainment and fireworks. Fun Zone for kids, foam and bounce houses. Parking is $5. Asking for $2 entry donation.
