Joseph Reginald Gloner, 35, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 22, charged with domestic battery (no bond).
Zachary David Heil, 24, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 22, charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($1,500 bond).
Jerett Joshua Justus, 28, Leesville, SC, who was already incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 22, on a Citrus County warrant for aggravated stalking after injunction for protection (no bond).
Daniel Arthur Redman, 25, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 22, charged with misdemeanor retail petit theft (value $100 or less). His bond was set at $500. Mr. Redman is accused of taking a semi-automatic BB gun and an Eclipse MP3 player from the Inverness Walmart, and of leaving the store without having paid for the items. Mr. Redman was detained in the parking lot. Video surveillance showed the theft. However, Mr. Redman told deputies he’d purchased the items for $1,000 and had torn up the receipt.
Nealon Leo Dumas, 75, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 23, charged with child abuse without causing great bodily harm (no bond).
Tammy Marnell Glover, 44, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 23, charged with resisting an officer with violence, and battery of a law enforcement officer, firefighter, EMS provider, or public transit employee ($10,000 bond).
Two people were arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, accused of burglarizing Snow’s Country Market, located at 6976 N. Lecanto Hwy. in Beverly Hills. Dakota Ray Tillman, 22, Dunnellon, was arrested, Sept. 22, charged with retail petit theft (value $100 or less), and burglary of an unoccupied structure ($5,500 bond). Larry Phillip Godsey, 36, Holder, was arrested, Sept. 23, charged with retail petit theft (value $100 or less), and burglary of an unoccupied structure ($5,200 bond). The two are accused of breaking into the business and stealing approximately $40 to $63 from the cash register and a bank bag in a desk. Mr. Godsey refused to answer questions without his attorney or a public defender present, so he was not interviewed. The report stated that the business owner reviewed video surveillance and recognized the two suspects as Godsey and Tillman.
Caleb Austin Gomez, 23, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 23, charged with domestic battery (no bond).
Darren John Lamb, 21, Novi, Michigan, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 23, on a Citrus County warrant for two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of a person under the age of 16 ($10,000 bond). Lamb was transported from the Oakland County Jail in Pontiac, Michigan to the Citrus County Detention Facility by Texas Prisoner Transport Services.
Austin Tyler Leffew, 18, Hernando, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 23, charged with (felony) disorderly public intoxication or endangering another while intoxicated, and resisting an officer with violence ($5,500 bond).
Barbara Seeney Martin, 67, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 23, charged with child abuse without causing great bodily harm ($2,000 bond).
Bruce Alan Prahm, 34, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 23, on a Mahoning County, Ohio warrant as a fugitive from justice for failure to appear in court on a charge of non-support of dependents (no bond).
Susan Arlene VanWalker, 47, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 23, charged with misdemeanor domestic battery (no bond).
Jennifer Ellen Wiker, 40, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 23, charged with uttering forged bills, checks, drafts or notes ($2,000 bond).
Curtis Edward Barker, 44, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 24, charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($16,000 bond).
Lauren Renee Devault, 33, Palm Bay, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 24, charged with trafficking in methamphetamine ($25,000 bond). The arrest began with a traffic stop in Inverness, due to the driver, Ms. Devault, not wearing her seatbelt. The deputy immediately noted the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. When the deputy asked Ms. Devault if she had marijuana inside the vehicle, she handed the deputy two small baggies containing marijuana. Meanwhile, the deputy noticed that the passenger was reaching down between the passenger seat and the door. With insistance from the deputy, the passenger produced a glass pipe that tested positive for methamphetamine and and blunt (cigarette) that tested positive for marijuana. A female deputy arrived on scene to search Ms. Devault’s person; she was found to be in possession of 14.9 grams methamphetamine. Ms. Devault was also issued a traffic warning for failure to wear a seatbelt.
Charles Darrell Layfield, 75, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 24, charged with domestic battery (no bond).
Jason Howard Levine, 33, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 24, charged with child neglect without causing great bodily harm ($2,000 bond).
Melido Ramirez Mejia, 46, Floral City, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 24, charged with driving while license suspended or revoked (habitual traffic offender), driving under the influence (DUI), fourth or subsequent conviction; and DUI with property damage ($11,000 bond). The arrest was the result of a traffic crash at the intersection of Hwy. 40 South and Hwy. 44 in Inverness, about 10:40 pm. The arrestng deputy detected a strong odor of alcohol on Mr. Mejia’s breath, noted that Mr. Mejia was unsteady on this feet, his clothing was disheveled, his pants zipper was unfastened, and his eyes were bloodshot. Mr. Mejia submitted to roadside sobriety testing and performed poorly. A criminal history report revealed Mr. Mejia’s driving history. Mr. Mejia was issued six traffic citations, as well.
Benjamin Drew Rhodes, 30, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 24, charged with misdemeanor domestic battery
Lonnie Joe Rogers, 49, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 24, charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation (no bond).
Darrell Ray Louis Keen, 28, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 25, charged with resisting an officer without violence ($1,000 bond) and domestic battery (no bond).
Zachary Scott Kellner, 25, homeless in the Crystal River area, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 25, charged with misdemeanor trespassing after warning ($1,000 bond). Shortly after 1:30 am, a complaint was made that a man named “Zach,” who had previously been trespassed from the store, was at the Kangaroo Express, located at 6296 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy. in Crystal River. Kellner told the deputy, that although he’d been trespassed from the store, he didn’t feel like walking farther away to obtain food and drink, so he decided to return to Kangaroo Express. The store clerk told the deputy that Mr. Kellner had caused disturbances at the store, in the past, but he did not want to press charges for trespassing after warning.
Rodney Allen Leffew, 33, Hernando, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 25, charged with theft of a motorcycle and burglary of an unoccupied structure ($7,000 bond). Leffew is accused of cutting the fence lock of the towed vehicle impound lot at Scally’s Lube & Go, located at 1185 N. Paul Dr., Inverness, on Sept. 15, entering the parking lot and stealing a blue 2002 Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle.
James Anthony Meggison, 52, Hernando, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 25, charged with child abuse without causing great bodily harm, and domestic battery (no bond).
Brandon Calbert, 20, Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 26, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill (no bond).
Joseph James Castronovo, 33, Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 26, charged with violation of an injunction for protection against domestic violence (no bond).
William Romain Knapp, 42, Hernando, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 26, as a fugitive from justice on a Tioga County, PA warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of rape of a mentally disabled person.
Angeline Lynette Barnes, 47, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 27, charged with retail petit theft (value $100 or less). Her bond was set at $500.
Stephen James Carroll, 65, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 27, charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs ($1,000 bond). After a civil traffic crash investigation at W. Milwe Ln. and N. McGowan Ave. in Crystal River, the deputy began an investigation into the possibility that Mr. Carroll was driving under the influence of alcohol. Mr. Carroll submitted to roadside sobriety testing and performed poorly. At the jail, Mr. Carroll refused to submit to breath alcohol testing. He was issued a traffic citation for refusal to submit to breath alcohol testing and for driving on the wrong side of the roadway.
David William Freeman, Jr., 31, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 27, charged with child abuse without causing great bodily harm (no bond).
James Clinton Marvin, Jr., 39, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 27, charged with fraud (illegal use of a credit card), and burglary of an unoccupied conveyance ($7,000 bond). Mr. Marvin is accused of breaking into a 2000 Lexus SUV and taking a purse, cellphone and debit card. The victim’s debit card was used on five separate occasions for a combined loss to the victim in the amount of $293.43. Video surveillance captured Mr. Marvin making a transaction with the victim’s debit card at the Publix supermarket, located at 3942 S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa. The person on the video surveillance matched Mr. Marvin, who was located at the Three Rivers Motel, 4891 S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa. The victim admitted to the burglary, but most of his interview was redacted from his arrest report.
Robert Louis McCarron, 50, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 27, charged with disorderly public intoxication or endangering another while intoxicated ($500 bond).
Rodney Owsley, 50, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 27, on a Citrus County warrant for battery (no bond).
Jeffrey Allen Smith, 28, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 27, charged with possession of a controlled substance ($2,000 bond). The arrest is the result of a traffic stop in Lecanto at Hwy. 44 and N. Maynard Ave. A K-9 made a positive alert on the vehicle, which was searched. Atached to the driver’s side visor, deputies found ten 5 mg diazepam pills.
Carter Andrew Bray, 30, Hernando, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 28, charged with planning, managing, supervising and trafficking in stolen property.
Robert Casey Burdette, 25, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 28, charged with child neglect without great bodily harm (no bond).
Tiffany Lynn Horne, 24, Hernando, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 28, charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).
Lana Joann Keith, 46, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 28, charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).
George Edward Smith, III, 29, Hernando, FL was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 28, charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).
Travis Justin Oliver, 29, Lecanto, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 28, charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance ($6,000 bond). Mr. Oiver was also arrested on a Citrus County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while license suspended (third or subsequent offense), with his bond set at none.
Casey Jaclyn Rocco, 24, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 28, charged with child neglect without great bodily harm, and domestic battery (no bond).
John Robert Todd, 39, Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 28, charged with domestic battery (no bond).
Joseph Michael Corona Darmiento, 26, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 24, charged with aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, and resisting an officer without violence ($7,000 bond). Deputies were dispatched to a W. Conestoga St., Beverly Hills residence with the complaint, that after a trespasser had argued with the victim regarding the trespassing, the trespasser got into a white pickup truck with another man and a woman, and they drove away. The deputy reported this was the second complaint he’d had that night, of a man trespassing and leaving in a white truck. The deputy located the truck at N. Sacramento Ave. and N. Valley Dr. A woman was standing outside the truck, and Darmiento was walking out of a wooded area, holding a small pair of shears in his hand. He told deputies he was picking berries. While speaking with the deputy, Darmiento became irate, clenched his fists, and asked the deputy what he was going to do about it (his trespassing). When the deputy attempted to take Mr. Darmiento into custody, Darmiento resisted. Meanwhile, Darmiento threatened to hit the second deputy and attempted to pivot around to get into the second deputy’s face. Enroute to the jail, the report stated, Darmiento stated, several times, that he would beat the charges because he’d given Judge Ric Howard $15,000, and Judge Howard would never convict him. Darmiento also offered one of the deputies $1,000 to let him go, and when the deputy refused to accept the bribe, Darmiento told the deputy that he would catch him another time and beat him.
Justin Richard White, 26, Dunnellon, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 22, charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation (no bond). Milton Roger Clevenger, 36, Floral City, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 23, charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer ($1,000 bond), resisting an officer with violence ($5,000 bond), and domestic battery (no bond). The report stated that deputies were dispatched to a residence due to “a violent mental subject, later identified as the defendant, Mr. Milton Clevenger.” The deputy asked Mr. Clevenger to step outside and speak with a medic, which enraged Clevenger, according to the report, and he refused, telling the deputy that he would get his pit bull to come and talk with, then grabbed the dog out of his cage, screaming at the deputy to not worry, that Michael (the pit bull) would take care of him (the deputy). A woman appeared on scene and grabbed the dog, telling Clevenger to stop, that the dog would attack the deputy, at which time, Clevenger slammed both the woman and the dog onto the ground, telling the dog to attack the deputy. Clevenger assumed aggressive posturing and did not comply with the deputy, who was attempting to take him into custody, and the deputy used his taser (stun gun) to subdue him.
Marco Antonio Davis, II, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Sept. 22, charged with (misdemeanor) disorderly intoxication in public, and resisting an officer without violence ($1,500 bond). Deputies were called to Cody’s Roadhouse in Crystal River, about 8:10 pm, with the complaint of a man inside the restaurant causing a disturbance at the bar, trying to fight other patrons. Deputies arrived to find Mr. Davis, apparently intoxicated, with his speech slurred and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Davis gave no explanation as to his behavior, the report stated, instead telling the deputies that he was quick and could outrun them and kick their @$$es. While being taken into custody, Davis resisted the deputies, so that he had to be “taken down,” the report stated. Witnesses explained that Mr. Davis was heavily intoxicated, attempting to fight them and had also threatened to kill them, and when he walked outside to the parking lot, they attempted to convince him to not drive, due to his condition, while he continued shouting expletives to them.
